EU.FFICIENT HEALTHTECH WEBINAR: AI, Innovation & Foresight

This webinar, organised within the framework of the EU.FFICIENT project in collaboration with Xartec Salut and the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (IRIS), offers a forward-looking perspective on the future of healthcare innovation, with a particular focus on the role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Bringing together leading experts from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC) and Politecnico di Milano, the session will explore how advanced data science approaches and technological foresight are shaping the next generation of healthcare solutions.

The programme features two expert-led sessions:

Expert Session 1 “Towards foundational models in health, data science from rare diseases to prevalent diseases” by Alexandre Perera Lluna – Professor at Universitat Politècnica de Barcelona · BarcelonaTech UPC; Principal Investigator of B2SLab research group; Director Xartec Salut and former director of IRIS.

Expert Session 2 ¨The Future of Health: A Technology Foresight on Disruptive Innovations¨ by Paola Francesca Antonietti – Professor of Numerical Analysis & Head of Laboratory for Modeling and Scientific Computing MOX at the Politecnico di Milano.
