Dr. Daniel Rodríguez-Rius appointed Deputy Director of Quality at EEBE

Dr. Daniel Rodríguez-Rius, Associate Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and member of the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering (BBT) research group, has been appointed Deputy Director of Quality at the Barcelona East School of Engineering (EEBE) of the UPC, effective 15 May.

In his new role, Professor Rodríguez-Rius will combine his teaching duties and his research activity within BBT with the responsibilities of overseeing quality processes at the School.

He joins the new Management Team, led by Director J. Antonio Travieso, which also includes: Javier Giménez (Deputy Director of Undergraduate Studies and Planning), Lexa Nescolarde (Deputy Director of Master’s Studies and Planning), Jordi José (Deputy Director of Research and Transfer), Cristina Periago (Deputy Director of Student Body and School Projects), Helena Martín (Deputy Director of Outreach, Social Responsibility and Equality), Jordi de la Hoz (Deputy Director of Corporate Relations), Alfredo Guardo (Deputy Director of International Relations and Mobility), Antonio Gámez (Deputy Director of Infrastructure and Resources), and Roser Alonso (Strategy and Academic Assets Delegate).
