GRBIO focuses on developing advanced statistical and bioinformatics methodologies for complex biomedical data, with applications primarily in healthcare. Key areas include clinical trial design and analysis, survival analysis, machine learning, and omics data. The group also works on generating and validating synthetic data to address cases where real data are scarce or sensitive. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration with medical and biological experts, GRBIO aims to provide innovative solutions to real-world health challenges and contribute to the training of future biostatistics specialists.
